After long and deep discussions, the youth from the Baltic Sea region democratically adopted the youth recommendations for the annual Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference 2025 in Mariehamn.

This year, ReGeneration 2030’s annual summit, ReGeneration Week 2025, was organised as a Youth Forum for the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC) 2025 under the presidency of Åland Islands. Under the theme “Safety Beyond Borders”, the youth forum focused on topics of security, connectivity and resilience, corresponding to the theme and the direction of this year's BSPC.

125 young people joined not only the youth forum programme, filled with theme-focused workshops (ReGeneration Week 2025), but also the first session of the BSPC, dedicated to the youth recommendations and intergenerational dialogues. During the session, over 100 parliamentarians took the challenge of engaging in direct dialogue with young advocates of the Baltic Sea region, discussing the most pressing issues of our region.

The youth recommendations were created and adopted by 50 young people, specifically focusing on topics of national security, energy security, youth inclusion, just green transition and emotional wellbeing. The recommendations were presented to the parliamentarians and participating experts as a contribution to the final Conference Resolution.

This year, the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Youth Forum (BSPYF) was organised alongside the annual youth-led summit ReGeneration Week, in cooperation with the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS), Parliament of Åland and the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC). It stood as an annual complementary youth event to the Annual Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference and took place from 22 to 26 August in Mariehamn, Åland.
